How to Start
Every investor can choose between two alternative ways to invest on the Stock Exchange market:
1. Portfolio Management Procedures:
- The client has to sign a portfolio management contract at our office, with a passport copy attached
- To open a bank account
- To make a money transfer for the amount of money he wishes to invest
What do you need to know:
- Your assets will be managed by our asset management team featuring fundamental research analysts, technical analysts and investment consultants
- The investors are protected by the Securities Act according to which the investors' assets are kept separately form the assets of the brokerage house
- The investors' capital is at their disposal anytime
- The investors can choose between several portfolios and different management strategies
2. Trading through the Client Order-Book Online System – COBOS Procedures:
- The client has to sign a portfolio management contract in our office, with a passport copy attached
- To open a bank account
- To make a money transfer for the amount of money he wishes to invest
What do you need to know:
- "COBOS is an Internet based application for authorized and protected access in real time to the System for trade on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Each client receives an electronic key which gives him access to the COBOS system. Each order becomes active after the confirmation of the brokerage house. In the particular case, the term "in real time" means that the COBOS clients' applications are updated at least in every fifteen seconds"
- The investor is protected by the Securities Act according to which the assets of the investor are kept separately form the assets of the brokerage house
- The investor’s capital is on his proposal at any moment
The Bulgarian Financial Markets
- The official index - the SOFIX, climbed substantially over the past 3 years, from 380.75 to 961.45 points;
- The market capitalisation of companies on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange - Sofia (BSE) has reached 10.6 billion BGN (Aug 2006);
- Foreign participation accounted for 25.65 per cent of the market capitalisation of the BSE;
